Account & Branch Setup

Create your account and organize your fleet by branch

Create Your Account

Click the Get Started button and create a new account using your email or Google account. Set up your organization name and details.

Subscribe to GuardDog

Choose your plan and enter payment details. You will be billed $9.99/month for each monitored unit. Monitoring and alerting requires an active subscription.

Create Branches

Organize your fleet by branch location. Each branch has its own units, cameras, and call chain contacts. Navigate to the Branches page and click "Create Branch" to get started.

Connect Cameras & Add Units

Link your dashcams to GuardDog for real-time monitoring

Connect Your Camera Provider

Navigate to the Integrations page and connect your camera provider (Samsara, Rosco Vision, or others). Enter your credentials and GuardDog will set up the webhook to receive safety events.

Add Units to Branches

Within each branch, add your units. Give each unit a name or identifier so you can easily track which unit triggered a safety event.

Assign Cameras to Vehicles

Register your dashcams and assign them to their respective vehicles. Map each camera to its device ID from your camera provider so events are routed correctly.

Configure Call Chains

Set up who gets called when a safety event is detected

Add Branch Contacts

Add contacts for each branch with their name, phone number, email, and job title. Set priority order — GuardDog calls the highest-priority contact first.

Set Up Corporate Escalation

Configure corporate-level contacts as a second tier. If no one at the branch acknowledges the event, GuardDog automatically escalates to your corporate call chain.

Test Your Setup

Use the Test Event feature to send a simulated safety event. Verify that your call chain works correctly before a real incident happens. You can test with any event category and severity level.
